FAQs

How do I order? What do I need to provide you with?

Ordering is easy! Simply select the vinyl package you want from our site, customize your options, and proceed to checkout. After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with instructions to upload your audio files and artwork. We'll guide you through the process and keep you updated every step of the way.

What is the turnaround time for this product?

Our standard turnaround time is 6 to 10 weeks from the moment we have all your materials (artwork, audio, and approvals). For faster service, we offer rush options with additional charges that can complete orders in as little as 3 to 4 weeks.

What’s included in the price?

The price includes everything you need to get your vinyl pressed, such as mastering, lacquers, and metal stampers, along with the vinyl pressing itself. The final price will only vary if there are over- or under-runs in the production quantity, which we’ll adjust on the final invoice. Shipping and applicable taxes are separate.

What audio formats do you accept for pressing?

We recommend submitting your audio in 24-bit, 96kHz WAV or AIFF format for optimal vinyl pre-mastering. However, we also accept 16-bit, 44.1kHz (CD quality) audio files. Please avoid MP3s, as they are not suitable for vinyl pressing.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity for most of our 12-inch vinyl packages is 50-100 records. If you need a custom quantity or a smaller run, feel free to reach out to us for pricing and options.

Is colored vinyl, including splatter, random, translucent, marble, smoke, split, haze, hand-poured, and picture disc, noisier than black vinyl?

Yes, colored vinyl, including splatter, random, translucent, marble, smoke, split, haze, hand-poured, and picture discs, has more surface noise than black vinyl.

Black vinyl uses carbon black, which reduces static and enhances durability for cleaner playback. Colored vinyl uses pigments that can introduce minor imperfections, leading to a higher noise floor, particularly in intricate designs like splatter, haze, or hand-poured styles.

For audiophiles prioritizing pure sound, black vinyl is the top choice. That said, the stunning, one-of-a-kind look of colored vinyl is a massive draw for artists and collectors who want their records to stand out visually. Our high-quality pressing keeps sound differences as small as possible, so you still get great performance alongside show-stopping style!
