Refund policy

At Train Records, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued once an order has been placed. Due to the custom nature of our vinyl pressing services, we may begin production as soon as we receive your materials, which results in costs for materials, labor, and resources. Therefore, we do not provide refunds unless deemed necessary by Train Records, at our sole discretion.

Manufacturing Defects

If there is a manufacturing defect with your product, Train Records will repair or replace the defective items at no additional cost to you. To qualify for a replacement, you must notify us in writing of the defect within 7 days of receiving the product. We reserve the right to determine whether a product qualifies as defective. Refunds are not provided for defects, only replacements or repairs.

Shipping Damages

Train Records is not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping. Once the product leaves our facility, the responsibility for the shipment is transferred to the carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx). If your product is damaged in transit, you must file a claim directly with the shipping company. We recommend purchasing insurance for your shipments to cover any potential damage during transit.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed, the customer is responsible for all materials, labor, and time spent on the order, even if they choose to cancel. If you cancel your order after production has started, you will be responsible for the full cost of all materials and labor incurred up to the point of cancellation. Train Records reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, in which case you will only be charged for the work completed.

Pricing and Delivery

All prices listed are subject to change without notice. Freight costs are not included in the listed price and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified. FOB (Freight on Board) Toronto, Ontario applies, and Train Records is not liable for any loss or damage to products after they leave our premises.

Payment Terms

Payment for all orders must be received before production begins, with 50% of the purchase price required as a deposit. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to shipping. Any outstanding balances beyond the due date will accrue interest at the rate of 1% per month (12% per annum).

Limitation of Liability

Train Records shall not be liable for any consequential damages, loss of revenue, or profit as a result of using our services or products. Our liability is limited strictly to the replacement or repair of defective products in accordance with our No Refunds Policy outlined above.
