How much does it cost to press 12 inch vinyl?
Short Run 12 inch black vinyl in printed jackets starts at $1,299.99 for 50 copies, $1,499.99 for 100 and $1,999.99 for 200 (CAD). Use the builder to see your exact price for any quantity, colour or jacket.
What is the minimum order for 12 inch vinyl?
You can order a single copy. 1 and 5 copies are lathe cut in black. Pressed records start at 50 copies.
How long can each side of a 12 inch record be?
Pressed records hold up to 20 minutes per side at 33 1/3 RPM (longer may be possible with additional mastering). Lathe cut records (1 and 5 copies) hold a maximum of 18 minutes per side, 36 minutes total. Shorter sides sound louder.
How long does 12 inch vinyl pressing take?
Standard pressed orders take about 5 to 7 weeks after your artwork and audio are approved. Short runs take 10 to 12 weeks and lathe cut records 25 to 30 business days. Rush options are available.
What audio files do I need?
Send one WAV or AIFF file per side, ideally 24-bit 96 kHz, down to 16-bit 44.1 kHz. MP3 files are not accepted.
Can I get coloured 12 inch vinyl?
Yes. Choose black, random colour, solid, translucent, marble, splatter, split, haze, hand poured or picture disc. Effects start at 100 records.
Do I get test pressings?
Standard orders include 10 test pressings, or 20 for a double album. Short runs can add them, and a Digital Test Press is also available.
